ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Lía Pistiner de Cortiñas is a training analyst, a full member of the
Argentine Psychoanalytical Society (SAP), and a fellow of the Inter-
national Psychoanalytical Association (IPA). She is a professor at the
Faculty of Psychology, Buenos Aires University, and runs seminars
on Bion and the Theory of the Psychoanalytic Technique at the
University Institute of Mental Health (IUSAM) of APDEBA (Buenos
Aires Psyc hoanalytic Association). She is the author of The Aesthetic
Dimension of the Mind: Variations on a Theme of Bion, and Autismo:
Una Perspectiva Psicoanalitica, and has contributed to numerous other
publications.
