Welcome to Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium
It’s hard to believe that 65 years ago, Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium first opened its gates back
when we remember it as Capilano Stadium, so please let us be the first to say ‘welcome!’
This season marks our 10th as caretakers of your professional baseball team, the Vancouver Canadians.
For the past decade, we have worked not only to create what we feel is the best sports experience in
Vancouver, but in all of Minor League Baseball.
Team president Andy Dunn and his staff have once again spent the entire off-season working to ensure
that this season gives you any number of opportunities to create new and lasting memories with your
colleagues, friends and loved ones.

A Message from Mark Shapiro
I want to personally welcome back the fans and players for another season of Canadians’ baseball to
historic Nat Bailey Stadium, as it celebrates its 65th anniversary in Vancouver.
Our partnership with the Vancouver Canadians continues to grow each year, and the impact it’s had on
us as an organization cannot be understated. Every season we send players to Vancouver to continue
to develop the skills needed to carry them on their journey to the Major Leagues. While here, we know
the players will be treated professionally by the organization, and supported wholeheartedly by the
fans. Some of those players include current Blue Jays Marcus Stroman, Kevin Pillar and Aaron Sanchez
– all of whom Canadians’ fans got to witness first, and are now making significant contributions at the
big league level.
We also know the positive impact this organization has had on the community, and the many grassroots
initiatives the organization is involved in, helping to grow the game and take baseball in Canada to
new heights. Having professional baseball here year-round continues to be an important part of the
Canadian baseball fabric in this city, province, and country.
We’re thrilled to be partnered with the Vancouver Canadians and look forward to many more years of
success on and off the field.
On behalf of the Toronto Blue Jays, I wish everyone throughout the Canadians organization, the players
and its fans, the best of luck in this upcoming season.
Sincerely
Mark Shapiro
