SajadJafari,Dr.,wasborninKermanshah,Iran,in1983. HereceivedhisB.Sc. (2005),M.Sc. (2008),
andPh.D.(2013)degreesinbiomedicalengineeringfromtheBiomedicalEngineeringDepartment,
AmirkabirUniversityofTechnology,Tehran,Iran. HeisalsocurrentlyservinghereasanAssistant
Professor,apositionhehasheldsince2013.
His research interests include artificial intelligence, optimization, pattern recognition, and
especially nonlinear and chaotic signals and systems. Dr. Jafari serves as Editor in the journals
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos (World Scientific) and AEU¨—International Journal of
ElectronicsandCommunications(Elsevier).
JacquesKengne,Dr.,wasborninCameroonin1971. HereceivedhisM.Sc. (2007)andPh.D.(2011)
degreesinelectronicsfromtheFacultyofSciences,UniversityofDschang,Cameroon. From2010to
2012,heworkedasaLecturerattheDepartmentofElectricalEngineering,IUT-FV,attheUniversity
ofDschang. HehasservedasSeniorLecturerfrom2012until2016,whenhewasappointedinhis
currentpositionasAssociateProfessor.
Prof. Kengne has authored or co-authored more than 60 journal papers. He also serves as a
reviewerforrenownedinternationaljournals,includingIJBC;CommunNonlinearSci.NumerSimulat.;
Int.JournalofDynamicsandControl; NonlinearDynamics; Chaos, Solitons&Fractals; andIEEETrans
CircuitsSystems. Hisresearchinterestsincludenonlinearsystemsandcircuits,chaos,multistability,
andchaossynchronizationwithapplications.
JesusM.Munoz-Pacheco,Dr.,receivedhisM.Sc.(2005)andPh.D.(2009)degreesfromtheNational
Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE), Mexico. He has served as Associate
Professor–Researcher at Polytechnic University of Puebla from 2008 until 2012, when he was
appointedtohiscurrentpositionasFullProfessor–ResearcheratAutonomousUniversityofPuebla
(BUAP).
Hisresearchinterestsincludethedesignofchaoticsystemsusingelectroniccircuits(integrated
anddiscrete),chaoscontrolandsynchronization,fractionalorderchaoticsystems,andchaos-based
applications.Withintheseareas,hehasauthoredandco-authored1book,7bookchapters,6patents
(filedinMexico),41journalarticles,andaround30IEEEconferencepapers. Dr. Munoz-Pachecois

aregularmember(LevelI)oftheNationalSystemofResearchers,anoutstandingprogramfounded
bytheMexicanGovernmentthroughtheNationalCouncilforScienceandTechnology(CONACYT).
He is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Nonlinear Dynamics and Control, and Guest

Dr.Munoz-Pachecoregularlyservesasareviewerforhighimpact-factorjournals(includingTCAS-I

Karthikeyan Rajagopal, Dr., is presently a Senior Researcher and Professor in the Center for
Nonlinear Dynamics of Defence University, Ethiopia. He completed his Ph.D. in electronics and
communicationengineering,specializinginchaos-basedsecurecommunicationengineering.
Hispost-graduateworkhasfocusedonembeddedsystemtechnologieswithanemphasison
programmingofreal-timetargets. Hehasover100internationaljournalpapersindexedinSCIand
hispresentresearchareasincludefractionalordernonlinearsystemsandcontrol,timedelaysystems,
FPGA,andLabVIEWimplementationsoffractionalordersystems. Hehasseveralprojectsfunded
bytheMinistryofNationalDefence,Ethiopia,andInstituteofResearchandDevelopment,Defence
