PREFACE TO THE SERIES
I
This is the third in a new series of re- .rr ' N Interactions
ports produced by the Particle Data Group. ":Henry Lubatti (Univ. of Wash. )
In this series we will collect and display total Fred Winkelmann (SLAC )
and differential cross sections, polarizations, James Wolfson (M. I. T. )
mass spectra, and other similar data. Each .rr-~I nteractions

ABSTRACT -We compile 165 papers reporting pp, np, nn, pd, and nd interactions from 0.5 to
70 G~V/C. We display cross sections, angular distributions, and polarizations as well as our fits
to some of the data. Included are indices to the papers, as well as a complete listing of the selec-
ted data. The cutoff date for this report was 1 July 1970.
