OVERVIEW
The Nikon D750 is a new addition to the company’s range of full-frame
digital SLR (DSLR) cameras, taking its place between the D610 and D810,
and borrowing features from both. For instance, its 24-megapixel sensor
is similar, though not identical, to that in the D610, and its overall
dimensions are closer to this camera too. On the other hand, its autofocus
system is akin to the D810’s (and to the top-of-the range D4s), although
said to have been improved still further. Its maximum shooting speed is
faster than either the D810 or D610. There are also a couple of standout
features which distinguish it from any other full-frame Nikon, namely a
semi-articulated screen (a boon for movie shooters in particular) and
onboard WiFi connectivity.
READY TO SHOOT »
When you unpack a new camera, it’s tempting
to start shooting right away—and taking pictures
is the best way to learn. However, it still makes
sense to peruse this book sooner rather than
later, to ensure you don’t miss out on new
features and functions.
