Background
• 67% of individuals suffer from neck pain at some point in their
lifetime
• The occurrence of neck pain and neck disorders increases with age
until late middle age and decreases thereafter. One explanation
could be that with advanced degenerative changes the spine
restabilises and may become less painful.
• More common among women.
