Acknowledgments
The mind games were tested, and most of them devised, by
the authors in the course of experimental work at The Founda-
tion for Mind Research. However, a few of the games included in
this book were suggested to the authors by experiments and other
works of Bernard Aaronson, Martha Crampton, John C. Lilly,
Abram Hoffer, and Humphry Osmond. A larger indebtedness is
to the published work and example of Milton H. Erickson.
Special thanks are due Alice O’Donnell, whose consciousness
was a testing ground for the ordering and verbalizing of the
games as they are set forth in the books.
