The act of looking into the future requires considerable courage,
some immunity from the taunts of skeptics, and, perhaps, a measure
of innocence. To look into the future and assess its implications
for management education and development is a task of even more
formidable proportions. It is therefore with a deep sense of gratitude
that the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business
(AACSB) and the European Foundation for Management Develop
ment (EFMD) recognize the contributions of the following members
of the task force who designed and planned the three-phase project
providing for such an assessment and who supervised the initial
colloquium held at Windsor Castle, the follow-on colloquium at
