SUBJECT GUIDE
In a book of this kind, it is impossible to have an exact reference as to the
purpose of each of the over eight hundred and fifty rituals. Since each is
unique in its objective, the index would be too lengthy. Hence, this guide will
help you to find the type of ritual quickly. You can then check through those
coded similarly until you find the one best suited to your specific aims.
This index only gives one category for each ritual--but many rituals may have
more than one aim so, as mentioned in the introduction, you are urged to read
through the entire book at your convenience, marking those rituals which you
plan to use later at your convenience.
Be aware of similar purposes - an item coded for money, may be just what you
need when searching for a prosperity or wealth ritual. A love or sex reference
can often interlock, as can religious, spiritual, and psychic powers.
The Astrological and Planetary Incense chapter is not included in this subject
Index. Check there for your own zodiacal sign and some interesting
Information about it, such as characteristics, best day, lucky number, best
colors, and ruling planet. In this chapter also are all ten planets with their

INTRODUCTION
This book will provide a much needed guide to the many occult incenses
and powders being used today and the various methods of employing them to
gain one's objectives. There have been other books covering these materials,
with lists of their purposes, but the attempt here is to give full information and
complete directions for specific purposes.
Within these pages you will find over eight hundred and fifty rituals for
almost that same number of different objectives. Included are about two
hundred fifty incenses and over three hundred powders, with an index for
locating the various subjects which interest you. However, an index cannot
provide a complete list of everything included in the text, so it is suggested that
you read the entire book, perhaps marking those rituals which you may wish to
use sometime in the future. To the right of the first line of each ritual there is a
code which corresponds to the Subject Guide Index.
The material herein has been gathered over a long lifetime as a teacher,
practitioner, and student of magical an<;l occult literature. If you are a believer
in the tremendous force of faith power, the rituals given can help you attain all
the things you want in life and assist in ridding you of those unfortunate
situations we all find ourselves in from time to time. There are magical
procedures here for love, protection, resisting evil, increasing wealth, staying
out of jail, and easing pain. If you are a skeptic and a disbeliever, there will be
no more help in this book than the pleasant experience of reading some
strange and interesting folklore.

INCENSE
Since Biblical days incense has been used during special ceremonies. In
Exodus, "Thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon ... He burnt sweet
incense thereon; as the Lord commanded Moses." Incense, with its
sweetsmelling perfume and high-ascending smoke, can be compared to a
sincere, earnest prayer which, enkindled by the fire of concentration, rises up
as a pleasant offering.
Incense begins with an aromatic substance from certain resinous trees. It is
finely ground and then color and additional fragrance is usually added.
Generally we expect the odor should be pleasant, but there are incenses which
produce foul smelling fumes which may be hard to abide. Roots and herbs can
also be used as incense, or they can be added to a wood based incense.
Depending on the maker's choices and the intention of the incense, only a few
additives can be included or many can be blended into the wood ~ase.
Today incense is available in a great many forms. There are sticks, cones,
logs, blocks, and powders. In occult practice, the powdered form is most
popular because it can be mixed and combined with all the various ingredients
deemed essential to the purpose for which it is to be used. Fragrance choice is
almost unlimited, ranging from Absinthe, Allspice, Almond, and Amber to
Wintergreen, Wisteria, and Ylang Ylang. The most popular scents are
Frankincense, Jasmine, Musk, Rose, and Sandalwood. However, form and
fragrance are not of primary importance in the choice of incense to be used in
magical work. It is essential that they be formulated by one who believes that
certain scents, combined with a goal-oriented name and a prescribed ritual,
can change circumstances, bring many rewards, solve problems, and
generally make miracles in the lives of those who believe in the wonderous
powers of magic.
For those who wish to bless the incense or dedicate it to a special purpose
before beginning the ritual, the following general prayer will serve.
"0 Blessed One, accept this ceremony with the spirit in which it is
performed; with sincerity, with humility, and with the realization of
mighty mystical forces far beyond my own understanding."

INCENSE
ADAM .nd EVE
When used in a burner beneath which a square of parchment has LO
been placed on which the two lovers' names have been written In
Dove's Blood Ink and encircled with a hand drawn heart, this helps to
form an impregnable bond which no outsider can pierce. For extra
strength to the ritual, anoint the corners of the paper with the Adam
and Eve oil before lighting the incense.
AFRICAN JU JU
This same incense is sometimes called simply Ju Ju, and the uses for both are
the same.
To place a hex or jinx on another person, write the punishment you HX
wish inflicted upon that one on a piece of parchment paper. AnOint
each corner of the paper with Crossing Oil. Then tear it into tiny
pieces, mix with the incense and burn.
ALGIERS
One of the incenses formulated to bring luck. Place your deck of GA
cards, dice, bingo card, the number you plan to wager on, or the name
of the horse which you plan ~o back beneath the burner, and burn
before engaging in any games of chance or placing any bets.
ALL PURPOSE
A basic formula concocted to lure gererous benefits for those who MI
use it weekly. Pray your own private petition as the taper is extended
to ignite the incense, or chant this several times.
All good is mine
Thy blessings unfold,
Tears turn to smiles,
And silver into gold.
ALL SAINTS
Should there be a special problem which needs assistance that can ST
only come from those souls who are already with God in heaven, write
the request on paper and place it beneath the burner. Light the
Incense and pray with assurance that your petition will be heard.

ALTAR
A holy incense formulated to attract holy spirits into the home or ST
church where this is used.
ANGEL
Overcome hexes by burning this in the home once a week, preferably UN
each Monday morning.
APHRODITE
Goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite was an enthusiastic companion of the
male gods and was worshipped by prostitutes as Aphrodite Hetaira and
Aphrodite Porne. She was also known as Ambologera, the postponer of old
age. The incense dedicated to her can be utilized in several ways.
If burned in the bedroom, it can protect unfaithful wives from their PT
husband's discovery of the infidelity for it so beguiles the husband
with its fragrance - and it won't hurt to use it during a love making
session - that all other thoughts may be driven from his mind.
To entice a friend to become more intimate, use during visits to your SE
home.
For those searching for the legendary fountain of youth, maintain MI
good health habits, work and play in sensible proportions, and enjoy a
spiritual rejuvenating session by burning this incense and reading
this gem of wisdom from an anonymous poet.

AQUARIUS

AS YOU PLEASE
Bend others to your will by using one of the most influential fragrances
available.
If there Is a particular person who is reSisting your desires or requests, CT
place their name on parchment beneath the burner. Burn for a few
minutes daily until your superior influence is firmly established.
To have your reqUirements met in contracts or business deals, this BU
ritual might bring success. Burn it before signing binding papers such
as leases or property settlements. After lighting the incense, pass the
documents through the fumes.
ASTARTE
A love incense dedicated to the Canaanite goddess who was LO
considered to be the daughter of Ra, the Sun God. Use it on specially
romantic occasions to encourage love to blossom.
ASTRAL
Generally used for its star-like qualities, one of its attributes is that of WI
making dreams come true, and include the use of the age-Old rhyme.
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
Place your wish beneath the burner and sing the rhyme over and over
as you light the incense.
ASTROLOGICAL
Refer to the chapter on Planetary and Astrological Incense.
ATTRACTION
A highly magnetic blend which attracts love and entices good spirits.
For love purposes, write the loved one's name on the four outer edges LO
of a Seal of Love taken from the Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses.
Place it beneath the burner, design upward, before the incense is
lighted.
If the intention is to attract favorable spirits, burn immediately upon ST
arising in the morning.
Use it to rent property by burning on the premises just before BU
prospective tenants arrive.
BANISHING
Burn when you wish to expel an unwelcome visitor from your home. HX
Its strength is increased if the unwanted guest's name has been
written on paper, then the talisman is torn into tiny pieces and the
fragments mixed into the incense before it is lighted.

BAST
Bast was the cat-headed sun goddess, the goddess of pleasure, and, MI
naturally, she was a most popular diety. Dedicated to this woman with
a eat's head who kept sacred cats in her temple as they were supposed
to be incarnations of the goddess, this fragrance can bring delight
and joy wherever and whenever it is used.
BAT'S BLOOD
To cast a banishing spell, place your petition beneath a burner. As the HX
incense is lighted, chant quickly nine times this rhyme.
Waft your way to one I hate,
Guide him (or her) away from me,
Let my foe drift far away,
Never more for me to see.
A spell of retribution to one who has wronged you can be cast by HX
chanting nine times, quickly and softly, as the incense is lighted.
Evil to evil, dust to dust,
Good to good, just to just.
BAT'S HEART
To break up another's love affair, write the names of the two involved LO
on parchment and place the paper beneath a burner. The written
names should be upwards. Sprinkle the parchment with salt.
Common table salt will do for this quite well. Then light the incense.
Repeat the ritual daily with a new piece of parchment and more salt
until the mission is successful.
BENEFICIAL DREAM
Burn in the bedroom just before retiring so that the night will draw PS
favorable influences and beneficial spirits which can help to make
one's dreams come true.
BETTER BUSINESS
The fumes are said to encourage customers to want whatever BU
merchandise is being offered to them.
BIBLE
For those searching for the deeper meaning in scripture, burn this RE
near your Bible's resting place so that, when studying sacred writing,
you may be blessed with having the secret meaning of the words
made clear.
BLACK
This is believed to add strength to spells intended to cross others. HX
Write your intention on paper and place beneath the incense burner.

BLACK ARTS
A powerful mixture concocted by one who believes in the magical CT
virtues of incense, formulated to give complete domination over
enemies to the user. Chant as the incense is lighted.
Power to me, defeat the foe,
Strength to me, subdue the foe.
Bring distress to opponents by mixing several drops of Voodoo Oil HX
into the incense. Write the names of those who stand against you on
parchment with the oil. A toothpick will serve if you have no new pen
to use, for the writing instrument should not be used again for any
other purpose. Place the paper under the incense in the burner.
After the incense and paper are burned, scatter the residue in front of
the foe's door, or mail it to him (or her) anonymously.
Create havoc among evil doers by placing their names beneath a HX
burner of the incense. light it and read Psalm 55, inserting "So be it"
after each verse.
BLACK CAT
To gain good fortune for yourself, burn each morning upon arising. LU
Bring defeat to another by placing their name, written with Dragon's HX
Blood Ink on parchment, beneath the burner and burning at midnight.
BLACK POWER
One of the strongest power blends available. It can be burned any PO
time you need to increase strength, control, or authority.
BLESSED
For protection, light the incense and pray sincerely, PT
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom His love commits me here.
Ever this day be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and guide.
To make holy water, place rain water in an open bowl between two RE
white candles. Anoint the candles with Blessing Oil and place them on
a table with the incense at the front of the altar. Hold the bowl of water
with both hands, passing it through the incense fumes in a circular
motion, as you repeat this chant.
Water, water, come down from above,
Bless this water with thy grace,
Aqua pura, water of life,
Call it holy in this place.
Place the water on the table and leave it undisturbed until the candles
and incense have burned out. Then pour the water into a clean
container and seal it until ready for use.
In tne event that rain water is not available, water from the faucet can
be used by boiling it first so that any impurities in it are neutralized.
