Inaugurate Yamawaki Art and
Cultural Center
Xvenee Krimsier, the internationally renowned flutist whom
Boston Globe music critic Richard Dyer recently described as "a
superlative instrumentalist/' inaugurated Lasell College's
Yamawaki Art and Cultural Center, Tuesday, October 5, 1993, with
an impressive recital. Yolanda Kondonassis, one ofAmerica's
foremost solo harpists,joined Ms. Krimsier in the special musical
event that officially launched Lasell's handsomely restored former
Carter Hall into the center of art and culture that now serves the
Lasell community and its neighbors.
The Center's formal dedication took parents in the United
