Lucy Allais is Henry Allison Chair of the History of Philosophy at UC
San Diego and Witwatersrand (South Africa). She has earned her PhD
from oxford, and is the author of Manifest Reality: Kant’s Idealism and
His Realism(2015).
Katerina Deligiorgi is Reader in Philosophy at the University of Sussex.
She has a PhD from University of Essex. Her main published work
includes The Scope of Autonomy: Kant and the Morality of Freedom (2012)
and Kant and the Culture of Enlightenment (2005).
Patrick Kain is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Purdue University
and has a PhD from University of Notre Dame. He has written “Dignity
and the Paradox of Method,” in Realism and Antirealism in Kant’s Moral
Philosophy (2017), “Kant on Animals,” In Animals: A History (2018). He
is a co-editor of Essays on Kant’s Anthropology (2003).
Robert B. Louden is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at University
of Southern Maine. He has a PhD from University of Chicago. Books
authored by him include Kant’s Human Being: Essays on His Theory of
Human Nature (2011, 2014); The World We Want: How and Why the
Ideals of the Enlightenment Still Elude Us (2007, 2010), and Kant’s
Impure Ethics: From Rational Beings to Human Beings (2000, 2002).
Ansgar Lyssy is a researcher at University of Heidelberg, and is funded
by a Thyssen-grant. From 2014–18 he was a researcher at LMU Munich,
funded by a DFG-grant. He earned his PhD from the Technische
Universität Berlin. His main published work includes Kausalität und
