This book is a compilation of the accepted papers of International Conference on
Innovations in Cyber Physical Systems (ICICPS 2020), held at HMR Institute of
TechnologyandManagement,NewDelhi,India,duringOctober22–23,2020.
Thegrowingintegrationofcyber(computingandcommunication)andphysical
(sensingandactuation)componentshaspavedthewayforthecreationofsophisti-
cateddesignedsystems.Thesetechnologies(alsoknownasCyberPhysicalSystems
orCPS)haveenabledawiderangeofapplicationssuchassmartpowergrids,self-
drivingcars,telehealthandsmartcities.AdvancesinCPSwilloffernewcapabilities,
aswellasgreateradaptability,scalabilityandusability,considerablyexceedingwhat
iscurrentlyavailableinembeddedsystems.Themajorgoalofthebookistoprovide
latest research findings on fundamental tools, applications, systems, test-beds and
fielddeploymentsofCyberPhysicalSystems.
Industry 4.0 will continue to be an intrinsic element of many technolog-
ical, managerial and business practices. ICICPS 2020 was organized to stimulate
