Angola Maize Breeding Program (AMBP)
OBJECTIVES
1.
• Develop high yielding stress-tolerant maize varieties
(O PV s) suitable to grow in different ecologies.
• Evaluate and disseminate varieties capable to increase
and stabilize yields at small scale farmers1 level.
• Train staff at all levels.
• Establish close cooperation with regional and
international institutions dealing with agricultural
research.
