Preface

This volume contains refereed papers which were presented at the Second
International Students Conference on Informatics - ICDD – 2012. The conference was held
between April 26th – 28th, at Sibiu, Romania. It was organized by the Department of
Informatics at the Faculty of Sciences, from ” Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu.

The conference is addressed to bachelor and master level students. Conference aim is
to bring together students from different universities from all over the world to discuss and
present their researches on informatics and related fields (like computational algebra,
numerical calculus, bioinformatics, etc) and their original results.

We thank all the participants for their interesting talks and discussions. We also thank
the members of the scientific committee for their help in reviewing the submitted papers and
for their contributions to the scientific success of the conference and to the quality of this
proceedings volume.
