AviAssorisaProfessorandformerHeadoftheEducationalandSchoolPsychology
programinBenGurionUniversity,Israel.Hisresearchfocusesonprocessesaffect-
ing children’s autonomous internalization of values. In addition, he is involved in
thedevelopmentandassessmentofschoolreformsaimedatenhancingstudentsand
teachers’ basic psychological needs, intrinsicmotivation and caring for others. He
haspublishedinJournalofPersonalityandSocialPsychology,ChildDevelopment,
JournalofEducationalPsychology,JournalofPersonality,JournalofEducational
Administration,andLearningandInstruction.
Daniel Baxter is a PhD student in the Experimental Psychology Program at the
University of Ottawa, Canada. He is conducting his graduate studies under the
supervisionofDr.LucG.Pelletier.Hisresearchisunanimouslypointtowardenvi-
ronmental psychology and the promotion of proenvironmental behaviours. More
specifically, his work focuses on the effects of motivation on needs satisfaction
andproenvironmentalbehaviouroccurrence,frequency,andpersistence.Heisalso
interestedintheeffectsofcognitivedissonanceonproenvironmentalattitudesand
behaviours. In addition, he is interested in research using resource dilemmas and
thedifferentfactorsthatcanfacilitateand/orunderminecooperativeandsustainable
behaviours.
Devasheesh Bhave (PhD, Carlson School of Management, University of
Minnesota, USA) joined the John Molson School of Business at Concordia
University in 2008. His current research interests focus on electronic performance
monitoring, specifically related to performance and job design issues. He is also
interested in processes related to emotional regulation in the workplace and its
relationship with individual monetary and non-monetary outcomes. His research
is published or is forthcoming in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel
Psychology,andJournalofOccupationalandOrganizationalPsychology.
ElianaV.Carraça,aSportSciencesspecialist(MSc),iscurrentlyadoctoralstudent
attheTechnicalUniversityofLisbon,FacultyofHumanKinetics,inPortugal.Her
researchinterestsfocusontheroleofbodyimageandphysicalself-perceptionsin
thecontextofphysicalactivitypromotionandobesitytreatment.Inparticular,sheis
