Acknowledgements
This book was enabled to come into being by the humungous
contribution from my wife Nesaa that I cherish and relish who, as
always, has never complained about my academic adventures. Her
cooperation and support are second to none. I remember how I used
to change many family topics into academic discourse in order to get
her responses on various issues I raised in this compendium. Boring,
as they always are, academic topics and its general narrative need a
person who seriously care, especially when such a person is
specialised in a different discipline.

time of explaining almost everything since they believe that their dad

with his-story as Europe concocted, doctored, desecrated and

Preface
Although Africa has sadly always been seen as a doomed continent,
it played a very pivotal role in the development of others, particularly
Europe. This is because its actual history has never been known.
What is known is a besmirched, distasteful, miswritten and
misrepresented story of the white man on Africa or his-story that is
taken as the history of Africa. Factually, without Africa’s contribution
through blood and resources, Europe the world knows of today
would not be or look like it is. It is only through Africa’s profound
and humongous contribution that produced the Europe the world
knows of today. Through slavery, colonialism and neocolonialism,
Europe garnered the capital that propelled to the development and
success it boasts of today. However sadly, despite such leg up,
Europe has never appreciated Africa so as to do justice to it. Instead,
Europe has taken Africa for granted as its backyard for bullying and
plundering.
Now time has come for Europe to do justice to Africa and itself
based on the rationalisation and the deconstruction of the centrality
of true history of Africa by redressing Africa for the all evils it has
caused resulting from slavery, colonialism, and neocolonialism.
Under deconstruction theory, every aspect of the so-called African
history that Europe fabricated and launched to the world by killing
its true history needs to be doubted, interrogated in order to be
deconstructed, detoxified. In addressing Africa’s role to Europe’s
development and Europe’s role in Africa’s underdevelopment, this
discourse seeks to deconstruct everything revolving around this
oxymoronic interdependence so that truth can come out. In so
doing, history but not monolithic his-story built on blatant lies is used
as a tool that can help both parties to come up with a viable and just
way of addressing the problem. The author shows how, when and
who did and what; and who is responsible for what. The book seeks
to show how Africa developed Europe at the expenses of its
underdevelopment. This is why the international community is not
left out. For, it has always been predisposed so as to let Europe off
hooks vis-à-vis taking responsibility for destroying robbing and

violating Africa for its benefits among which is the development of
the former as opposed to the latter’s underdevelopment.
In a nutshell, this cutting-age volume in that it has used current
information and references aims at presenting the case for Africa to
the world so that the world can reciprocate by presenting Africa’s
worth to Africans and the world but not Europe alone. Nothing this
book seeks to demystify, detoxify and deconstructing the “his-story”
that the reader needs to investigate and interrogate as Europe and its
allies and cohorts fabricated and subscribed to it. This is the history
and story that portrays and shows Africa in a bad light. This is how
Africa developed Europe.
