661 vii Preface Over the past 25 years, I have conducted much research and collected many pictures, letters, and stories about the Hollier families of southern Louisiana. During my research, I realized that a complete picture of the genealogy of these families had never been published. I felt that compiling a book was the best way to share this information with family members in a format that is hopefully easily accessible to everyone.
