Prof. Dariusz M. Bielinski, DSc, PhD, Eng.
Prof. Dariusz M. Bielinski is affiliated with the Institute of Polymer and
Dye Technology at the Faculty of Chemistry, Lodz University of Technol-
ogy in Lodz, Poland, and the Division of Elastomers and Rubber Technol-
ogy of the Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes in
Piastow, Poland. He is currently involved in education and research on
engineering and technology of polymer materials, especially focusing on
elastomers and elastomeric composites. During his over 20-year profes-
sional career, Professor Bielinski has led a number of research projects
and consulted for industry. He is the author of three monographs and 15
book chapters, over 200 scientific papers, and about 20 invited lectures on
various aspects of chemistry, technology, engineering, and tribology of
polymer materials and composites.
Prof. Ryszard Kozlowski, PhD, Eng.
Prof. Ryszard Kozlowski is currently affiliated with the Division of Elas-
tomers and Rubber Technology of the Institute for Engineering of Poly-
mer Materials and Dyes in Piastow, Poland. He is currently involved in
research on natural fibers and polymer-fiber composites, especially in the
aspects of their biological corrosion and flammability.
