So you're interested in haiku
!
Perhaps you have heard and read so
much about it that you would like to gain
some deeper knowledge about its intricate
meaning and construction. Maybe you are
a dabbler in poetry who wants to expand
his versatility to include the current trend.
Or perhaps you have heard ofits educative
value in concise and simple expression and
would like to teach a semblance ofthe art
to your pupils.
This is a book for everyone whose atten-
tion has been caught by haiku. Its author,
Harold G. Henderson, while admitting that
it is impossible to give ''complete or even
adequate answers" to the myriad of ques-
tions that arise concerning the art, never-
theless proposes guide lines and ideas which
