It is an ideal text for courses in information studies, computer science, the history of technology, and the cultural influence of technology.Dave Sengserved as the director of the Learning Resource Center at Brookline College for three years. He has taught humanities and critical thinking courses for Brookline College and Concordia University, Irvine. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Arizona, where he teaches courses in hacking and open source culture and digital commerce. He holds an M.A. in humanities from Harrison Middleton University and an MLIS from the University of Arizona, and he is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in philosophy and religion from Harrison Middleton University.
