apparentlybeingnegativeforprospectsofcontinuedgoodrelationsandstability,thisconservativeturnwastakenasa result ofinternal
politicaldynamicsandnotspecificallyasareactionagainsttheWestoragainstEastEuropeandevelopments.Gorbachev,the'new thinkers',
andtheforeignpolicyconservativesareinvolvedinapowerstruggle.Theconservatives,thegenerals,havegainedinfluenceandarenowina
