Chapter 1 – Introduction
My name is Deon Christie and the work contained in this eBook required a few years of research and
constant repetition. There are certain page rank leveraging tactics you may not know about, and you
will have access to free tools and tutorial on how to leverage Google. The difference between
successful affiliate marketers and those a lot less successful is knowledge and exposure. Without
website traffic, there will be no sales and as tasteless as it sounds it does not change the fact.
Discovering your profitable niche is covered, and the importance of a hobby explained. You will
discover the importance of keyword research and learn how to optimise your search for the best
exposure. You are about to start a journey into the world of successful affiliate marketing, and a
willingness to learn is of utmost importance. There are many simple methods and tactics exposed in
this eBook, and carefully categorized in a proven sequence.
This is the basic sequence you will be required to follow if you’re going to make any money online as
an affiliate marketer. It’s also similar to a chain, and if you do not complete the links in the chain
then you will sadly experience the effect of a broken link. It’s absolutely pointless for instance, to
research a product before discovering your profitable niche. This will only result in desperate sales
pitches and will destroy your credibility before you even get started.
This eBook will also show you how to get started on a surprisingly low budget, and the mere
mention of “budget” had that red flag up in your mind, right? Not surprising as many people have
already spent a lot of money with absolutely nothing to show for it. Well, the methods and tactics I
will show you will result in you spending a lot less that you might anticipate! Yes, it can be done and
if you invest in yourself and trust in your ability to succeed then you will.
There’s even some writing exercises that will result in you being able to create content you never
knew you could. The kind of exercises you need, because your own content is crucial to getting
recognised as a professional. All of this training and getting your income stream up and running will
ultimately require you to pay for your one domain and hosting
The rest of the tools you will have access to come completely free, in fact you will only be paying for
one tool simply because I also had to buy this tool. I personally use all these tools and tactics within
my own passive internet income streams, and that is how I know my method works because it works
for me to this day.
Success is only tiny objective steps in the right direction, now just follow my lead…
Chapter 2 – Defining Your Profitable Niche (Niche)
Before we get to your profitable niche, first you must create order which determines your direction.
You are going to do a lot of research and you must record and save your findings, kind of like
designing the blueprint of your internet empire. You may want to create folders and sub folders with
Word and even PDF files, and be specific with your Folder and File titles. For example; to discover
your profitable niche you must create a Word Document and name it something like “My Profitable
Niche”. You will later do the same for your Keywords, Products and every little piece of content you
will learn to create. Order is most important because there is no result in going nowhere fast!

All the talk about niche marketing and target markets can quickly result in you being lost in an
unforgiving ocean of information overload. When in fact it’s not all that complicated, it’s actually
quite logic if you think about it. Choosing a niche can be associated with establishing an interest,
with no exception to a hobby and/or activity. In fact it would actually be preferable to focus on a
hobby and/or interest because it’s important that you enjoy what you do. You can also think of a
niche as a maximum of 1 to 2 keywords describing your interest and/or hobby, but absolutely no
more than two. If you exceed this then you will be confusing your niche with keyword phrase
research, be careful.
When you enjoy what you do, it leads to you gathering knowledge like treasure which is exactly
where your sales will come from. And using a hobby and/or interest you will be choosing a niche
where you already have some knowledge. It really doesn’t matter how little knowledge you think
you have. Always remember that what you have achieved already, someone else is having a hard
time with just like you did. And offering advice and useful, interesting content is what audiences are
searching for. You are perfectly capable of offer that content, even though you may not know that
yet. Remember that the sky is never the limit, your level of believe and trust in your capability is.
Getting Started with Your Profitable Niche – You need to open The Word Document you created for
your Profitable niche. Your first heading must point to your interests and perhaps hobbies, like “My
Interests and Hobbies”. Next you need to type your interests and/or hobbies under your first
heading. This must be associated with the things you love doing and could perhaps be something
like; reading, writing, cooking, painting, woodworking, cycling, jogging, gaming, gardening, traveling,
archery. Even things like scrap booking, planning weddings and perhaps something like shopping or
website design.
As you can see the possibilities are truly endless, we just have to narrow this into 1 – 2 words. And
you can also see that this is absolutely anything you love doing, type it all under your first heading no
matter how much or little you can think of. This is going to be the basis on which you will focus all
your content creation. It is a known tactic to drive buyer traffic without a single sales pitch, and it’s
used by all successful affiliate marketers.
To better define a niche; here’s a few niche examples - Marketing, Social Networking, Blogging,
Writing, Body Building, Dieting, Weight Loss, Nutrition, Arts, Crafting, Cooking, Gaming, Leisure,
Catering, and Gardening. Use these examples to establish your interest, but don’t limit your
selection to the demonstration. Concentrate on your hobby and/or interest to choose the best
result.
Use your Word Document as discussed earlier and start with a heading like “Things I like Doing”, or
“My Favourite Hobby” then write down everything you can think of. Even if you think something
does not matter, write it down because it does matter more than you realise. I’ll strongly advise on
writing more than 400 words on your hobby and/or interest all in your own words. Even if writing
that much content poses a little challenging, then just write as much as you can. Remember that
there’s no pressure, you just do the best you can. Simplify as much as possible because it will narrow
down the search to your profitable niche.
Once you have a bit of content in your Word Document, then read it a few times over and pay
attention to yourself. You will be surprised at how such a little writing exercise can actually tell you a
little more about yourself. And this is exactly how you get to know what you’re good at because if

you simply try to think of all your talents you will miss a great deal. After reading everything, you
have to think of a niche that would best summarise your interests and activities.
For instance; if you enjoy a good workout at the gym and use different nutritional products to
achieve a certain goal, then you already have more knowledge that you realise. Needless to say,
your niche may be something like Dieting, Weight Loss, or Nutrition.
If you enjoy blogging and social networking then you may want to look into the different sub niches
of marketing and writing. If you enjoy building things with your own hands, then crafts may be the
niche you must focus, but again you must look into the sub niches.
Your next Word Document File should be titled “Keyword Research Results” with a first header like
“Short Tail Keywords” where you will write down every single word you can think of that describes
your hobby and/or interest. No more than two words at a time because this is your base keywords.
With a love for a great workout for instance; profitable keywords can be best describe as Workout,
Gym, Nutrition, Exercise, Gym Equipment, Core Exercise, Biceps, Triceps, Spinning. And let’s use
reading and writing where great keywords can be; writing, reading, books, blogging, eBooks,
publishing, editing, content, grammar, poetry, author, and writer.
The Top Six Profitable Niches are found within; Your Own Interests, Generating an Internet Income,
Health Caring Based Activities, Blogging Tutorial, Technology and Devices, and Personal
Development Information. All you need do is establish where your hobby and/or interest will best fit
in, so to speak.
But what is a sub niche? A sub niche is like categories of a particular profitable niche. Within the
niche Internet Marketing, a sub niche is Affiliate Marketing and Viral Marketing. However, Email
Marketing will be considered a sub niche of Viral Marketing, as will Video Marketing. Reason for this
is that it’s all methods of leveraging VIRAL exposure to achieve a certain goal. A niche like Dieting
have sub niches like Weight Loss and Nutrition for instance, where Supplements can be a sub niche
of Nutrition. A sub niche is pretty much categorising of nature.
Later on with keyword research you will see how you will use the niche with sub niche words and/or
phrases to target your audience.
Chapter 3 - Secret Tactics of Keyword Research (Targeting)
This is where you will learn about the three different categories of Keyword Research. There are
Short Tail Keywords, Long Tail Keywords, and there’s Anchor Text.
What is a Short Tail Keyword? Short Tail Keywords are single words, but in some cases no more
than two words. Short Tail Keywords are used within your domain and site title, and must be a
selection of what best describes your hobby and/or interest. These keywords will also later populate
your home page content, which will result in your website actually getting indexed and ranked in
Google.
What is a Long Tail Keyword? Long Tail Keywords are normally three to four words with the latter
less preferable. Therefore you should try to use a maximum of three words, because these are the
phrases that must populate the headers on your website. Headers must be directive and precise,
hence the quantities.

What is an Anchor Text Phrase? Anchor text phrase can best be described as a certain phrase that a
visitor may type into their browser. Some anchor text may be in question form like “how can I lose
weight fast” or “losing weight easy and fast” or even “need help losing weight”. It’s the phrase
someone would type into their browser which describes a certain need that your product must be
the solution to. Which is precisely why keyword targeting is the first step because it is what will
indicate the need, and identify the product with the solution. Anchor text is one of the primary
ingredients that will be the difference between having your own website, and having your own
Profitable Website.
Let’s use reading and writing for instance; then “where can I find good books” or “best books to
read” or even “learn to do professional writing” or “how to publish a book”.
Now you have a good idea and clear indication of your niche, and your Word Document “Keyword
Research Results” is created it’s time to move on.
Using the Google Keyword Planner Tool
Obviously you will first need The Tool in order to move on, which is why you have access right here -
Free Google Keyword Planner – This is just one of various free tools you will have access to in this
eBook, but it is important to follow the sequence precisely. You start with Keyword Research, by
following the link and you will be on the signup/login page of the Google Keyword Planner. It should
resemble the image as illustrated below.
If you have a Google account you can simply log in with your Google login details. Creating your own
Google account is totally free, and you should then follow the instructions and create your Google
account. Once signed in you should be on a page resembling the image below.

Click on the second of the three options provided “Get Search Volume Data and Trends” which will
redirect you to the next page as illustrated below.
The red arrow indicates the area where you must type in the keywords from your Word Document
you have created earlier entitled “Keyword Research Results”. The keywords you have recorded
under your first heading “Short Tail Keywords” is what you need to type into the search window.
Separate your keywords with a comma and single space and then click on the blue button “Get
Search Results”. Your search result page will resemble the illustration below ranging from number of
searches to competition as circled in red.

The WordPress Warrior Training – by Deon Christie
This is the result of how many times a short tail keyword get searched in Google per month, and can
be as high as a few million searches per month. You will also note the level of competition which is
important because the best short tail keywords for your niche, will be the ones with a high search
volume and a low competition. In fact, this exercise may take several hours before you have
established the best short tail keywords for your niche. Another reason to record all search results in
a Dedicated File, its hard work to research profitably.
Next you must write down all the search results most profitable to your niche and record the
number of searches and level of competition. Try to avoid the high competition short tail keywords,
but medium competition is also acceptable. Perhaps create a table on your Word Document by
clicking on “Insert” and then “Table” and just choose three columns for “Short Tail Keyword”,
“Number of Searches” and “Competition”. Then record your results.
The next search is going to be for “Long Tail Keywords” and must be the next heading on your Word
Document. Only this time the search window is different because it’s the small window to the top
left inside your Google Keyword Planner. Now first write down all the phrases that best describe
your niche under your new heading. As with the short tail keyword research, you must separate
them with a comma and a single space. Then click on “Get Search Results” to the right of the search
window. Remember to try and limit long tail keywords to a maximum of three.
All these search exercises are going to take a lot of time and you need to be creative and shovel the
words around in some instances for best results. Next you do the same with your anchor text search,
and by now it should get easier, right? Do refer back to the examples and definitions as mentioned
earlier.

to spend time with it. This is the core of your internet sales, the base and the cornerstone of your
online empire.
Chapter 4 – Establishing the Need (Page Rank)
One of the best ways to establish a need within your niche is to study people’s conversations with no
exclusion to questions. So, for the purpose of demonstrating this traffic tactic we will research Blogs,
Guest Writing, Forums and Communities. For the moment this is research only, we will get to
commenting and engaging later. For the purpose of this exercise you will need the Google Page
Rank Checking Tool which you can access by simply following the link.
Another free tool that Google already provide you with and also one of the “Secret Weapons” used
by all successful affiliate marketers. The tactic you’re about to master is how you get high page rank
exposure for your website and products at absolutely no cost to you. All it requires is the investment
of time which is unfortunately unavoidable, but elemental to your online success.
Researching Best Blogs for Page Rank Understanding
Start by typing the words “Blog Search” into your browser, search works best with Google and/or
Firefox web browsers. Then click on search and you should then be on a page as illustrated below.
The first two links circled in red are two of the best blog search sites on the internet, you should
bookmark these links in a separate folder. Remember we mentioned the importance of creating
order. Perhaps you can name your folder something like “Blog Research”, because you will be using
these tools continuously. This is all part of research before you should even consider a sales pitch of
any sort, you are building an empire and not a shelter.

As illustrated and circled above, this is where you enter the keywords you wish to search. This will
then redirect to a search results page where you are going to determine the page rank of every site
individually. There are certain hidden tactics not everyone know about, or especially want you to
know about. Your results will appear similar to any Google Search Result Page, much like or identical
to the illustration below.
For another search, simply enter your keywords in the window to the top as indicated by the arrow.
As with keyword research, this is a rinse and repeat exercise. If you have not accessed your free
Google Page Rank Checking Tool, then simply follow the link, the image illustrates the home page.
