Geotechnical Aspects of Underground Construction in Soft Ground is particularly aimed at
GEOTECHNICAL ASPECTS OF
academics and professionals interested in geotechnical and underground SOFT GROUND
engineering. The symposium was organized under the auspices of the Korean
UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION IN SOFT GROUND
Geotechnical Society (KGS) and the International Society for Soil Mechanics
and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) Committee TC204. IS-Seoul 2014 is
the latest in a series which began in New Delhi in 1994, and was followed by
symposia in London (1996), Tokyo (1999), Toulouse (2002), Amsterdam (2005),
Chungsik Yoo, Seong-Wan Park, Bumjoo Kim & Hoki Ban
Shanghai (2008), and Rome (2011).
