Note 1 : Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion
of the Union Public Service Commission in case of
candidates otherwise- well qualified.
Note 2 : The qualitication(s) regarding experieiive is/
arc relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public
Service Commission in the  case of candidates
belonging to the Scheduled  Castes and  Scheduled
Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the Union
Public Service Commission is of the opinion that
sufficient number of candidates from these communi-
ties possessing the requisite experience are not likely
to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved  for
them.
DESIRABLE:
(i) Master's Degree in Engineering or Doctorate
degree in any of the subjects mentioned in essential
qualifications.
(it) Training in system analysis or advanced  computer
systems.
(in) Experience of one or more of the following
fields:
(a) Development of data base management  information
system.
(b) Computer solutions of operational economy-
wise planning models, linenr programming, mixed,
integrated, programming.
(c) Management of a computer centre.

(b) possessing  the  educational  qualifications  and  ex-
perience prescribed for direct recruits under column

Re-employment  :
The  Armed  Forces Commissioned  Officers  who arc
due to retire or vo be transferred  to reserve within
a  period  of  one  year  and  having the educational
qualifications  and  experience  prescribed  for  direct
recruits  under  column  8 shall  also  be  considered.
Such officers will be given deputation terms upto the
date  on  which  they are due  for  release  from  the
Armed Forces and, thereafter, they may be continued
on  ''re-employment1'  basis.

Service Commission shall be held.
