OnNovember16to17,2014inShenzhen,oneofthemostdevelopedandbeautifulcitiesinChina,the2014
InternationalConferenceonFutureCommunicationTechnologyandEngineering(FCTE2014)wassuccessful
held.Itisagreatpleasureformetoseesomanypeoplecometogetherfortheadvanceofandprogressofthe
technologyinaspecificfield.
Fromhand-writtenmailstotelegraphs,fixed-linetelephonesandtoday’smobilephoneswhichcouldbasically
provide a connection to any one at any place in the world, we humans have made tremendous progress in
communicationstechnology.
Insteadofcomingtoanendofdevelopment,communicationtechnologiesareactuallyatitsfastgrowingstage;
therearemorepossibilitiesforfuturecommunicationtechnologiesprovidedbytheachievementswehavemade
ratherthanlimits.Forthisreason,wehavedecidedtoorganizethisinternationalconferenceoncommunication
technologies.ItisintendedthattheinnovativeideasandinspiringstudiespresentedatFCTE2014willbenefit
otherresearchesinthefuturebyotherpeople.Withthepublicationofthisbook,Iamsurethatthispurposewill
bewithinourreach.
OnNovember16–17attheconvention,someinnovativeandinspiringideaswerepresented;certaincontro-
versialtopicswerediscussedlikewhatthemostefficient/convenientmethodsforinformationcommunication
areandwhatthemostpossibleprospectforfuturecommunicationtechnologyis.Itistrulyadifficultytomake
anydefiniteconclusionsfromthosepresentationsanddiscussions,butthedesireandpassionforimprovement
anddevelopmentshownbyourparticipantsaresurelyremarkableandrespectable.
Inthisbook,70inspiringpapersareincluded,whichwerechosenfromhundredsofsubmissionscontributed
bypeoplefromvariouscountriesandregionsaftercarefulreadinganddiscussingbyourdiligentreviewers.These
carefullyselectedpapersstudiedalmosteverypossibleaspectofcommunicationtechnology;thedepthofthe
researches’isalsothoroughandcomplete.Thediscussedaspectsincludecommunicationsystems,automation
andcontrolengineering,electricalengineering,AIalgorithms,signalprocessing,datamining,knowledge-based
systemsandsoon.
Finally, the successful opening of FCTE2014 and publishing of this book is the collective work of many
people’s.Asamemberoftheorganizingcommittee,Iwouldlikespeciallythankthesepeoplewithallmyheart,
