what is Financial Alchemy?

on a more holistic level, transforming lead in human experience into

I have wild stories. I love what you read, Nichole. There was a guy
named Elliott Malach who bought my workbook and booked a
20-minute coaching session with me. That day, he manifested
$87,000. Wait, there’s more! Two weeks later, he collected another

One lovely gentleman heard me on the radio. He called me about
becoming his coach. We had a little bit of a chat. He came for his

Nancy, if I said things to you things like, “I don’t trust you. You always
leave me when I need you. I know you will walk out on me. You
break up families. You cause violence. I don’t trust you. I think you’re
evil. I wish I didn’t need to have you in my life. I’m only in a relation-
ship with you because I have to be. I resent you,” how would you
feel?
Nancy: Not very good.
Morgana: Would you want to hang around me?
Nancy: Not at all.
Morgana: You can do all the personal development stuff on yourself in
the world. You’re not playing a victim. You’re working the Law of

Attraction. You’re not thinking bad thoughts. And yet all this is also
going on behind the scenes and we’re pretending it’s not there.
I think it’s even harder for those of us who have done all the work on
ourselves in the personal development area: we can have a little bit
of reverse snobbery, especially in spiritual circles. We’re too clean
and nice to go after the money.
Does anybody out there relate to what I’m saying? It’s a problem.

Here’s the thing. I’ve always been an overachiever, the good girl

who got good grades. Even after I was hit by a car and in a coma
and woke up with a brain injury… I still graduated with honors! I’m
good at achieving, except with this money thing.
I first started coaching in the entertainment industry. In the very first
month one of my clients was nominated for an Emmy award. I al-
ways had that magic touch as a coach. Some of it is being a good
coach. Some of it is stuff that just happens to my clients.
Here I was, a really good coach, except I wasn’t good at getting
paid. I was helping clients land tv series and sell their films and I
would become embarrassed by charging a fee! Is there anybody
else out there who gets embarrassed about asking for the money?
You want to be a good person. You shouldn’t charge to help peo-
ple… blah, blah, blah.
People were interested in hiring me as a coach. Then they’d ask
that question, “How much do you charge?” I would get so weird
about it. I would hem and haw. I would dance around it.
I was really uncomfortable with the whole money conversation. Run-
ning through my head the whole time was, “This person can’t afford

it. I’ll be victimizing him.” I was always working under the premise
that I was supposed to rescue that person for free.
They didn’t know what was going on in my head. They wanted to
hire me. Here I was, this girl who was freaking out and feeling guilty. I
created an “ick” factor because I was uncomfortable with money.
Meanwhile, I had the website. I sent out the newsletters. I had busi-
ness cards. I went to the networking meetings. I worked so hard. I
did everything everybody told me to. I did all the right stuff. I had no
clients.
That is why I say I was just the biggest loser in this regard. Even with
my results, at my low point after I was certified, a one-year process, I
was making $100 a month.
You try being a coach and tell people that you can help them with
their lives when you’re making $100 a month. It was a big embar-
rassment. It was a big area of shame. It was very painful.
It just hit me one day that money was my next area of spiritual
growth. I was born with the compassion gene. I’ve always been
able to help people, but I had to get a handle on this money thing if
I wanted to fulfill my purpose on earth.
Interestingly, soon after I had that thought, I found myself studying
relationship coaching. It was the best training I ever had. I started to
take a look at my relationship with money.
First, I thought about all those negative thoughts and experiences
that you have growing up. I realized that there was some really
heavy stuff that I hadn’t thought about in 20 years. Family members
hadn’t talked to each other in 30 years. I had just swept it under the
consciousness rug.
No wonder I had money issues! It got in the way of love. There was
big drama. It was “Dynasty” level intrigue, drama and betrayal.

It occurred to me that if this money that broke up families and got
in the way of love was a person, my money would be this big, scary,
dirty, violent biker who caused fights at parties. Some girls like that
kind of guy. I’m not that girl.
If there is a big, scary, dirty, smelly, frightening biker at a party, I will
always be on the other side of the room with my eye on him. I’ll
watch him and protect myself from him. I’ll keep as much distance
from him as possible.

That is exactly how I was behaving about money, and I didn’t know
it until that moment. I was treating money like that big, scary, dirty

I started to think about who I would like to have as a relationship

I had this image of a tall, dark, handsome, romantic, clean-cut,
happy in the
clean-shaven gentleman. He wore tails and carried a bouquet of
red flowers. I just swooned when I thought of that. He wanted to
relationship
woo me. Imagine what it’s like to be wooed by money. Wow!

Suddenly, when people wanted to know what I charged I thought,
“This is a gift from my lover. Thank you.”
I asked him what he wanted from me. I thought, “My God, this guy is
hot! I want to keep this guy, my money.” I asked him, “What do you
want from me so you’ll want to stay with me, Money?” He said, “Ap-
preciate me and don’t treat me like a monster.”
The funny thing is that within a week, I received four calls from peo-
ple all over the world who wanted to hire me. I could feel my tongue
wanting to talk them out of it. I wanted to say things like, “Do you
want a sample session?” No, they wanted to hire me. They knew
what I did. They’d been following me for a while.
I was so aware of the impulse. I almost talked them out of it because
those were the shapes my mouth was used to making. I just bit my

tongue. I shut up and recognized that this was money giving me a
gift. The proper response is to appreciate it. I said, “Great, when you
do want to begin?”
Most of you have been doing that for years and it isn’t a big deal. It
was for me.
Every month for about six months, I received another four people.
I’d never had 24 people before. I felt like my brain was going to ex-
plode. I had reached maximum capacity for myself at that time.
I started using this process with my clients. Really cool, miraculous
things happen. I receive emails, cards, or phone calls every week. At
the very least, you can reduce your financial anxiety. I explain how
you do that next.
I just received an email from a woman I was coaching two years ago.
She said that by using this process, she has doubled her income ev-
ery six months for the last two years. This year she will make $197,000
by September. I know where she came from. Nobody would have
believed it, especially her.
She was in my first workshop for this. She came up with this gorgeous,
wonderful money named Rich. A week after the workshop, she said,
“Morgana, I have this money guy and he hasn’t given me anything.”
That was such a great wake-up call.
Money is not here to rescue you, especially not rescue you from your-
self! Money is a relationship partner. Your only power is to be a great
relationship partner.
If you want more money, you ask money, “Money, what do you want
from me to make you happy?” That’s a very different paradigm from
anything I’ve heard before. It’s a mind stretcher to say, “Money, what
do you want from me to make you feel loved and happy? What will
make you want to stay with me?”
Money goes up and down. I’ll talk about that in a moment. When I
feel anxious, I say, “Money, I’m feeling anxious. What do you want
me to do so I can feel less anxious?”
