The following notification to the project specifications and drawings shall apply to proposals for and to the
execution of the various parts of the work affected herby.

All interested parties and/or bidders shall take careful note of this Addendum No. 2 and all trades
affected shall be fully advised as to their performance of the work, etc. involved.

GENERAL:

The following items are to be integrated into the Project Manual and Drawings as additions to or
deletions from the Construction Documents issued for bid, for the above referenced project:

Item 2-1: Bid Date: The Bid Date and Time for Bid Packaged will be on Thursday, March 1st,
2018 at 2:00 pm (MST). Bids are to be delivered to the YISD Purchasing Department,
located at 9600 Simms Drive, El Paso, Texas.

Item 2-2: Pre-Bid Meeting Attendees: A copy of the Attendee Sign-In Sheet, for the Pre-Bid
Meeting conducted on February 14, 2018, is included as part of this Addendum.

Item 2-3: 2017-2018 School Year Calendar: The Calendar for the 2017-2018 School Year, is
included as part of this Addendum. The Calendar indicates all relevant dates for start &
end of school, holidays and most importantly, required testing dates. Please note that
the 2018-2019 School Year Calendar has not yet been finalized by YISD.

Item 2-4: List of Plan Holder’s: A copy of the current Plan Holder’s List, is included as part of this
Addendum.

Item 2-5: Typical Page Headings: Typical Page Heading, at the top of each page, of the Project
Manual Documents should read as follows:

§ 8.3.1.1 The Contractor shall anticipate and include in the construction schedule lost time due to
adverse weather conditions in accordance with the number of Anticipated Lost Time Workdays by
month in the El Paso, Texas area as follows:

§ 8.3.2 Claims relating to time shall be made in accordance with applicable provisions of Article
15.
§ 8.3.2.1 No day on which substantial Contractor forces are able to perform work
on the Project for more than fifty percent (50%) of the usual workday will be
counted or allowed as a lost workday.
§ 8.3.2.2 No day will be counted or allowed as a lost workday unless it occurs
during a period when the critical path of the project is subject to impact from
adverse weather conditions.
§ 8.3.2.3 A request for a time extension based on unusually adverse weather
conditions will not be granted unless during the period when the critical path of
the project is subject to impact from lost workdays, the cumulative number of
actual lost workdays exceeds the cumulative number of Anticipated Lost Time
Workdays for the same period.

1. WEC All-Welded Lockers, as produced by WEC Mfg., are approved for use on
the project.
2. Superior Fully-Framed All-Welded Lockers, as produced by List Industries, Inc.,
are approved for use on the project.

Contractors shall perform all other material take-offs, structure construction, installation, and labor cost
estimates as necessary per project plans and specifications.

Contractors shall acknowledge the receipt of this Addendum No. 2 in writing. Contractors not
acknowledging the receipt of this notification, may not be considered in the bid opening.
