Giuda è un ebreo devoto, un uomo razionale, che tradisce Gesù nella speranza di salvarlo dall’ira della gente e soprattutto dalla sua “presunta” follia, affidando il suo destino alla Legge di Mosé mediante un regolare processo. Solo dopo avere compiuto il suo gesto Giuda comincia a rendersi conto dell’enormità del proprio sbaglio, e dell’orrore che, attraverso quella porta aperta, fa il suo ingresso nel mondo. Tuttavia l’ultima parola non è ancora stata pronunciata: nemmeno tutte le tenebre del mondo possono cancellare la realtà dell’affetto che li ha uniti.</p>
