Mestenger) paid: Surely, you have asked me
about a great matter that is; however, easy 10
those for whom Allask has made it easy.
Worship Allaah and do not associate anything
with him in worship. Establish ‘Salaah
(prayer), pay the Zakaaby (mandatory charity),
fast the month of Ramadhaan and perform
‘Hajj’ (legislative pilgrimage) to the Touse (AL
Ka'bat), He then said: Should T not direst you
tw the gateways of good? Fasting is a shield
(Le, against evil): charity extinguishes the sin

just as water extinguishes fire, and the prayer
of a person durlag the middle of the night.
Then he recited: ‘Their sides forsake thelr
beds.’ up to “they used to do.’ [Soorah ai
‘Sajid 3216-17]
