A contribution to the systematics of the genus Manota Williston (Diptera:
Mycetophilidae) in Brazil. Zootaxa, 4472: 001–059.
In our recent paper on Manota Williston in Brazil (Kurina et al. 2018), two errors were detected and they must be
corrected as follows:
1) the specific epithet of the new species described on p. 24, Manota oliveirai sp. n., was grammatically incorrectly
rendered and must be emended to Manota oliveirae sp. n.
2) the specific epithet of the new species described on p. 43, Manota silvai sp. n., was grammatically incorrectly
rendered and must be emended to Manota silvae sp. n.
Both amendments base on the rules in the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature: Articles 31.1 and 32.5
(ICZN 1999).
