Mit einer an Kant (und dessen fur die Moderne gultige Diagnose einer fundamentalen Ereignisantinomie) gewonnen Ereigniskritik argumentiert vorliegende Studie sowohl gegen die naturalistische Trivialisierung des Ereignisses als auch gegen dessen antinaturalistische, letztlich idealistische Hyperbolisierung. Stattdessen wird fur einen kritischen Realismus des Ereignisses argumentiert, welcher die Vertraglichkeit von Indetermination und Determination konsistent konzeptualisiert. Gezeigt wird, dass Normativitat auf epistemischer, ethischer und asthetischer Ebene kontingenzsensibel gedacht werden kann, ohne dass deshalb doch der Anspruch auf objektive Verbindlichkeit aufzugeben ist.
