ThepresentbookentitledEndophytes:MineralNutrientManagement,Volume3is
in continuation of two previous volumes published on endophytes, their biology,
biodiversity,cropproductivity,andtheirroleincropprotection.Basedontheidea
thatendophyticmicrobesarefarstrongerthantheotherbacteriaintherhizospheric
microbial world, scientists are paying great attention to the understanding of the
beneficialnatureofendophytesinparticularastheybearenormouspotentialitiesfor
boostingthesustainablegrowthofcropsandagroecosystems.
This book is a comprehensive collection of reviews on current science and
evidenceofbiofertilizerabilityofendophytesfornutrientmanagement.Somechapter
ontheendophyticlifestyleintheplanttissuesisanattractionofthebook.Thereisan
elaboratedaccountoftheirspecialtraitslikecompetence,rootcolonization,and/or
endophyticphytohormonesecretionwhichactforplantprotectionandstressseques-
tration. Entirely, the synergism of practical and theoretical wisdom on endophytes

series “Sustainable development and biodiversity” is entirely dedicated to various
