Foreword
Sustainable development is a principled development process (land, city, business, community,
etc.)inmeetingpresentneedswithoutcompromisingtheneedsoffuturegenerations(Brundtland
inUN,1987).Oneoftheessentialfactorsrequired,toachievesustainabledevelopmentisimprov-
ing the saturation of the environment without sacrificing the need for economic development
andsocialjustice. Sustainabledevelopmentconsistsofthreemainpillars; economic, social, and
environmental,whichareinterdependentandstrong.Somepeoplemightseesustainabledevelop-
mentiscloselylinkedtoeconomicgrowthandhowtodeveloptheeconomyoverthelongterm,
withoutdepletingnaturalresources.Thus,sustainabledevelopmentisanenvironmentallyfriendly
development,efficientintheuseofnaturalresourcesandprovidinglong-termbenefitsforliving
things.
In the sustainable development context, which holds an important role to participate in the
provisionofeducationalprocessesingeneratinggraduateswhoareabletobeactiveinsustainable
development. Itismanifestedthroughoutstandingeducationalleadership, educationalplanning,
educationalpractices,educationalsupervisionandrelevanthumanresourcedevelopmentaswell
aseducationalinstitutionsappropriatenesstotheenvironment.
TheveryfirstInternationalConferenceonResearchofEducationalAdministrationandManage-
ment(ICREAM)2017presentedvariousarticlesofresearchthatdiscussessustainabledevelopment
invariouscountries.Wehopethatthisconferencecanbefollowedbycontinuousstudyinaccordance
