Y
our hair legacy
All of us, men and women, have a “hair legacy” which we need to preserve. Hair is
often regarded as a reflection of health and on average, we have 100,000 to
150,000 hairs. People are sensitive about the quality of their hair.
Very recent research has made it possible for science to understand the secret life of
hair, from its birth to death.

MELANOCYTES :these cells supply the pigments which give hair its colour.

Hair is a living material and therefore undergoes growth and death cycles.

Generally speaking, for hormonal reasons, men’s hair does not grow as long as

affect, if not disrupt, the hair cycle. Disruption of hair growth generally originates in the

Hair loss, whether in men or women, is always a handicap that is often neglected. MATI

The main causes of hair loss are :
- Physical fatigue or overworking
- Neurovegetative disorders
- Trauma and shock (birth, surgery)
- Infectious diseases
- Certain types of medication
- Hormonal disorders
- Professional factors
- Hereditary factors
In addition, alopecia can occur as a result of treating the hair and scalp harshly, for
example through the use of overly detergent shampoos, perms, dying and aggressive
backcombing in addition to the mechanical effects of brushing.
When hair loss starts to be excessive (over 30 to 50 hairs per day), whether in men or
women, treatment has to be started in order to stop hair loss or to prevent it becoming
worse.

iscovery of horsemane (ANP®)
In the majority of mammals, the hair bulb is located in a layer of a very particular type
of oily tissue. The permanent presence of this oily mass suggests that it is necessary for
hair growth in humans.
These observations were made in animals with manes such as lions, giraffes, horses,
etc.
The discovery that Horsemane has a highly beneficial effect on the phaneres (keratini-
sed parts of the human body : nails, eyelashes and hair) was discovered in hospital.
The spectacular results obtained with nails led scientists to study this new active subs-
tance very carefully.
A team of French hospital pharmacists, in collaboration with the ASEPTA Laboratories,
have developed a method for separating and purifying Horsemane “Tricholipids” or

PRESENTATION

PROPERTIES
ANP®40 ampoules are the most concentrated products in the ANP®range.
ANP®Tricholipids activate sulphur (in its active form: the thiol groups) which is vital for
active biosynthesis of cysteine and methionine. This action stimulates hair growth and
slows down hair loss.
In the course of the first few applications of ANP 40®, greater hair loss may occur in
some cases. This is normal and involves hair at the end of its cycle. Do not stop treat-
ment if this happens as this hair loss will stop quickly once deficient hair falls out.
INDICATIONS
ANP 40® is not limited to its main effect (hair loss) but also acts on the root causes of
hair loss. Its use is recommended for :
• Excessive hair loss. As soon as the first excessive hair loss appears, in men and
women, as well as in hair loss already in an advanced stage.
• Thinning scalp. In cases where hair growth slows down and where it is necessary
to assist re-growth in weakened hair by stimulating and activating the tissues which pro-
vide nutrition.
• In cases of seborrheic alopecia, especially in men.
• In some cases of hair loss with dandruff.
• Anaemic hair. In cases where scalp and hair condition need to be improved in order
to increase vitality by making the hair healthier, stronger and more alive.
COMPOSITION

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ANP 40®must be applied section by section along the scalp and not to the hair for it
to have an effect on the roots and to quickly penetrate into the nourishing matrix.
Massage into the scalp gently and slowly.
Leave for at least 20 minutes then shampoo hair. ANP40®can also be left on all night.
In this case, wrap hair in a towel so that it does not stain the bedclothes.

The effect of the product ECRINAL A.N.P. 40® AMPOULES was evaluated in 71 men
and 22 women (total: 93 patients). It is important to note that the cause of hair loss in
men and women can be very different. This means the benefits of the treatment in the
two sexes can be understood better.
Number of applications: first month, attack treatment : 3 to 5 ampoules per week
3 following months : 1 to 2 ampoules per week
R E S U L T S
- EFFECT ON HAIR LOSS
After 2 months of treatment, hair loss stopped or was considerably reduced in 85% of cases.
- EFFECT ON HAIR RE-GROWTH
After 4 months of treatment, there was an obvious hair re-growth in 67% of cases while 11% of cases showed
the growth of “baby hair”.
- EFFECT ON EXCESS SEBORRHEA
(Study conducted on people with hyperseborrhea, a common cause of alopecia in men).
