1. Removethetwoboltsfromthetopofthegaragedooropener.
2. Aligntherailandthestyrofoamoverthesprocket.Cutthetapefromtherail,belt,and
styrofoam.
3. Fastentherailwiththepreviouslyremovedbolts.
4. Positionthebeltaroundthegaragedooropenersprocket.
5. Attachthesprocketcoveroverthegaragedooropenersprocketandattachwithhexscrews.

2TightentheBelt 1 (To motor unit)
Spring Trolley Nut
1. Byhand,threadthespringtrolleynutonthethreadedshaftuntilitisfingertightagainstthe
trolley.Donotuseanytools.
2. Insertaflatheadscrewdrivertipintooneofthenutringslotsandbraceitfirmlyagainstthe
trolley.
3. Tightenthespringtrolleynutwithanadjustablewrenchora7/16"openendwrenchabouta
2
quarterturnuntilthespringreleasesandsnapsthenutringagainstthetrolley.Thissetsthe
springtooptimumbelttension.

Youcanattachtheheaderbracketeithertothewallabovethegaragedoor,ortotheceiling.Followthe
