About the Authors
Adrian T. H. Kuah A research leader at both The Cairns Institute in
Australia and Centre for International Trade and Business in Asia at James
Cook University, Adrian Kuah has published close to 70 papers in leading
scientific and business journals, such as Science of the Total Environment
and Journal of Business Research. He has represented both the British and
Singaporean governments at various fora, such as conducting policy dia-
logues, leading in standardisation projects and advising on competitive-
ness and innovation policies in New Zealand, Singapore and Ireland. To
date, he has received close to $900,000 of external funding towards his
research. In 2013, he received the accolade of Professor of the Week in the
Financial Times newspaper.
Roberto Dillon Born in Genoa, Italy, and based in Singapore since 2005,
Associate Professor Roberto Dillon is the author of five well-received
books published by AK Peters, CRC Press and Springer. A speaker at many
high-profile international conferences and events, including GDC in San
Francisco and TEDx in Milan, he is currently the Academic Head for the
School of Science and Technology at James Cook University Singapore,
where his research focuses on game design, history of technology and
cyber security. In 2013, he founded and has since directed the very first
Museum of Video and Computer Games in South East Asia.
