Asthedigitaleconomyinfiltratesalmosteveryaspectofourlivesandismovingata
breakneckspeed,smarttechnologiesincludingcomputationalintelligencesystems
are changing our global business world. The added value of smart technologies
is only realized when businesses apply big data analytics to uncover insights that
canimprovebusinessoptimization,competitiveness,andinnovationperformance.A
thoroughexaminationoftheantecedents,consequences,anddiffusionofthebusi-
ness analytics and big data analytics application shows that computational intel-
ligence systems play a crucial role in business. Thus, the current book highlights
