Ma quando i Gorgor, servi del dio esiliato, danno fuoco all'intera città dove è stato nascosto per stanarlo, Dagger capisce che non esiste alcun rifugio per lui. Sin troppo presto, capirà anche che nessuno può combattere contro se stesso.</p> <p>Nota da parte dell'autore: Ho scritto un dark fantasy il cui scopo fosse spezzare con la tradizione, indirizzando la narrazione verso tematiche più esistenziali rispetto alla vecchia e abusata formula del male contro il bene. In Dagger la lotta del bene contro il male non è netta, né facilmente individuabile, ma è un processo tormentato, interno al protagonista, il cui esito è difficile da prevedere.
