Preface
Workshopsofthe16thAsianConferenceonComputerVision(ACCV)2022wereheld
in a hybrid mode in Macau SAR, China during December 4–8, 2022. We present the
workshopproceedingsfromeightsuccessfullyheldworkshopsonavarietyofselected
topicswhichenjoyedmanyattendees.Thenumberofacceptedworkshops(10intotal)
waslargerthaninthepreviousconferencesasACCV2022washeldinahybridmode
tomitigatechallengesposedbytheCOVID-19pandemicbywelcomingvirtualandin-
personattendees.Indeed,thisfacilitatednumerouspapersubmissionsandthediscussion
on a variety of timely topics. 25 papers were accepted given 40 submissions in total
following the double-blind review process with 3.3 reviewers (on average) per paper.
Theacceptedworkshopswereofexcellentquality.

The workshops primarily covered topics in high-level computer vision, as well as
modern applications of computer vision. All workshops and the grand challenge had
invitedspeakersessions,whereleadingresearchersgaveinsightfultalks.Sixworkshops
acceptedpapersfortheseproceedings.Twoworkshopshostedchallengesandpresented
theirresultsintheirsessions,andsomeevenarrangedcashawardsforthebestpapers.We
thankalltheworkshoporganizersfortheireffortstoprepareandhostthesesuccessful
events,especiallyinthechallengingenvironmentofhybridmodehosting.Wehopethey
continue to hold their workshops in future ACCVs. We thank the reviewers for their
valuablefeedbackforpaperauthors.Wealsothankthepublicationchairsforcollating
thepaperspresentedintheworkshopstopreparetheworkshopproceedings.
