Sus escritos contienen, como dice el prólogo del Liber Vite Meritorum, las “respuestas y advertencias para gran cantidad de personas tanto importantes cuanto humildes”, es decir la correspondencia que la priora mantuvo con papas, emperadores, reyes, nobles, obispos, monjes, y gente de toda condición social que acudían a ella en busca de luz, ayuda, intercesión y consejo. <p>La edición que aquí se presenta está organizada en tres volúmenes que siguen la tradición manuscrita al ordenar las epístolas de acuerdo con el rango o posición social del destinatario, respetando así el formato medieval jerárquico, no cronológico o temático. Y con este propósito se establecen diez clasificaciones para las cartas, que nos sumergen en una visión integral del hombre, donde se conjuga el arte (musical, plástico, literario), la teología, la ciencia y la espiritualidad.</p>
