When Porthcawl gathered together to offer
support to the Sandville Self-Help Centre!
AS was reported in last week’s GEM,
there was a great turnout for the
Twelfth Night Gala Fancy Dress Ball in
aid of the Sandville Self Help Centre –
held as usual at the Hi-Tide Inn, in
Mackworth Road, Porthcawl.
Last week’s photographs (by Keith E
Morgan) showed a number of the winning
fancy dress entries, but there was plenty of
ingenuity and imagination on show that night,
so this page is devoted to entries who, although
they didn’t win a top prize, still put on a great
show!
All in all, it was a great example of a
community pulling together to help one of its
favourite local charities.
