I am Dr.K.Diwakar BSc,MBBS,DMRD,MRCR, a
Consultant Radiologist practising in Kent,UK. After
graduating from BMC, I left India in 19 for UK for my
postgraduate training. From 1973 to 2002 I have been a
Consultant & Director of Imaging at Medway Maritime
Hospital, Gillingham, Kent, UK.
I married Shantha, a Specialist in Community Paediatrics,
in Kent.
We have two sons, Vinod and Previn.
Vinod is a Consultant Paediatrician,in Birmingham
Children's Hospital, and a Postgraduate Tutor, University
of Birmingham, UK. He is a co-author of Paediatric Vade-
Mecum.
Pervin is a Specialist Registrar in Clinical Imaging,
in Royal London & St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London,
UK.

I am Dr.K.Shankaranarayanan MBBS, DABOp, an
Ophthalmologist practising in Covington, VA, USA. After
graduating from BMC, I left India for USA in 1963 for
postgraduate training. In 1971 I started my
private practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia and in 1973
moved to Covington, VA. I have been the Chief of Medical
Staff of my hospital. Since 2002 I have semi retired.
In 1966 I married Lalitha BCom, BA, who is a Comptroller
of Shankar Enterprices and also helps in my practice.
We have two sons, Harsha and Prithvi.
Harsha has an Import-Export business.
Prithvi MD,DABOp. an Assistant Professor of
Ophthalmology, at the University of Pennsylvania in
Philadelphia. He is married to Priya MD, a Physiatrist.

I am Dr.R.Chokshi MBBS, DABOtl, FRCSC, an
Ottolaryngologisit, practising in Sydney, Nova Scotia,
Canada. After graduating from BMC, I left India in 1962
for postgraduate training in both USA and Canada. Since
1971 I have been in private practice in Sydney. In my
hospital, I have served as Vice President and President of
the Medical Staff Association, as well as Chief of Staff,
Chief of our Department and Chairman of the Ambulatory
Care Committee. I am still in active practice.
In 1969 I married Ranjana MSc, who manages my
practice.
We have two sons, Anang and Apoorve and a daughter,
Amala.
Anang has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, practises in
Los Angeles.
Apoorve BSc works for Electronics Arts Company of
Canada in Vancouver.
Amala MSc works as an Analytical Chemist for Proctor
and Gamble in Hamilton, Ontario.

I am Dr.K.R.Gururaja Rao MBBS, DCH(Scot), a
Paediatrician and a Family Physician practising in
Bangalore, India. After graduating from BMC, I left India in
1964 for postgraduate training in Scotland. In 1971 I
returned to Bangalore and has been in private practice
ever since. In 1983 I started my private Nursing Home in
Jayanagar. I have been honoured by the Brahman
Sreepatharajamata as Dhruvaprashasthi. I am still in
active practice.
In 1968 I married Pramila BA, DBM, who is the Chief
Administrator of my Nursing Home.
We have a son, Sanjay and a daughter, Nandini.
Sanjay MBBS, DCH, DNB, a Paediatrician, practising
along with me, is married to Nanda MD, a Consultant
Anaesthesiologist in my Nursing Home.
They have a daughter, Avanthika.
Nandini MBBS, MRCP(Ed), a Research Registrar in
Metabolic Unit in St.Mary's Hospital, London, is married to
Praveen MS, FRCS, a Colorectal Surgeon in Southend
Hospital, London, UK. They have a daughter, Prakruthi.

I am Dr.Y.B.(Manohar) Paranjape MBBS, DOMS(Bom),
MS(Bom), DO(Eng), DABO, a General Ophtholmologist,
practising in Hermitage, TN, USA. After graduating from
BMC, I had postgraduate training in India. I left India in
1968 for further training in England and USA. I returned to
India in 1974 and practised in Pune. In 1976 I returned to
USA for further training and has been in practice since
1982.
I married Pushpa BA, a housewife and she helps in my
office.

I am Dr.I.P.Revanaradhya BSc, MBBS, a General
Practitioner in Davangere, Karnataka, India. After
graduating from BMC, I worked in Victoria and Vanivilas
Hospitals and also in Tumkur General hospital. I left India
in 1963 for postgraduate training in USA. I returned to
India in 1967 and started my own general practice in the
name of Aradhya and I.P. Memorial Charity Hospital in
Davangere. I am semi-retired now.
In 1960 I married Shantha, who is a housewife and a
helper in my hospital.
We have two daughters, Sadhana and Neetha and a son,
Swaroop.
Sadhna BA is married to Suresh, a Professor of Anatomy
in Belgaum Medical College. They have two daughters,
Smitha and Shruthi.
Neetha BSc, BEd a school teacher in Bangalore, is
married to Prasad, a Professor of Paediatrics in a Medical
College in Bangalore. They have two sons, Abhay and
Akhil.
Swaroop PhD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston,
Texas, now working as a Research Associate in
Human Genetics at Stanford University Hospital, Palo
Alto, CA, is married to Kerry MSc, a Science writer and an
editor at Family Health International. They have a
daughter, Maya.

I am Dr.A.R.Paranjape BSc, MBBS, FACA,
FFARCS(Eng), an Anaesthesiologist, living in
Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA. After graduating from
BMC, I left India in 1964 for postgraduate training both in
USA and England. I returned to India in 1973 and
practised as a Cardiac Anaesthesiologist in Bombay. I
returned to USA in 1975 and practised in Chattanooga
and Murfreesboro, TN. I was an Assistant Professor at
the University of Tennessee and Meharry Medical
College. I was the Chief of my department at Nashville
V.A. Medical Centre. I was also a member of the ICU, OR
and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees. I was
awarded as the best physician in Middle Tennessee in
'87. I retired in 2002.
In 1964 I married Sheela BA(Hons) and she is a
housewife.
We have a daughter, Natasha and a son, Nikhil.
Natasha BScN, a head nurse on a Surgical floor in
Nashville, TN, is married to James. They have a
daughter, Ariana and a son, James.
Nikhil BSc, a TV news anchorman at NBC studios in
Memphis,TN, is married to Lorraine BA, a TV
reporter. They have a daughter, Ana and a son, Max.

I am Dr.K.Krishna Murthy
MBBS,FRCSC,DABNS,FACS,FICS, a Neuro Surgeon,
practising in Little Rock, Arkansas USA. After graduating
from BMC, I left India for USA in 1963, for postgraduate
training. I did research in Neurological Sciences in
Canada. In 1971 I returned to USA and have been in
private practice in Poughkeepsie, New York and recently
moved to Little Rock. I have been the past President of
the Medical Staff and the Director of Neurological Surgery
and Neuro-Trauma at our hospital. My professional
awards include The Franciscan Award 2000, Physician of
Excellence Award 2004 and 2005. I am still in active
practice.
I married Pushpa, a graduate of BMC, an
Anaesthesiologist at the VA Hospital. She retired in 1998
and is doing voluntary Medical Service in Sirali,
Karnataka State, India.
We have a son, Ramesh and a daughter,Geetha. We also
have three granddaughters, Indira, Shaila, and Devi
and two grandsons, Narayan and Nikhilas.

I am Dr.B.M.Jayaram
MBBS,MD,FICP,FIMSA,FICC,FICA a Physician living in
Bangalore, India. After graduating from BMC, I
did postgraduate training in India and was on the faculty of
Medicine as a lecturer in Hubli, Assistant Professor in
Bellary and Professor and head of the Department in
Mysore and in BMC. I was the Dean of the Faculty of
Medicine in Bangalore University. I was a Superintendent
at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospitals and a Senior
Physician, Governament of Karnataka. I have published
more than 40 papers in Medicine and presented a
paper at the International Thyroid Symposium, Rome,
Italy. I retired from my active practice in 1996.
In 1967 I married Saraswathi, a graduate of BMC, who
has retired as a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
at BMC.
We have a son, Rajeev.
Rajeev BE,MS, a senior Research Engineer working for
Nokia in San Diego, California, USA, is married to
Maithri. They have a son, Akash.

I am Dr.Ambu Patel MBBS,DABS,FACS,FRCSC a
Thoracic,Cardiovascular and General Surgeon living in
Palos Hights, Illinois, USA. After graduating from BMC I
left India in 1962 for my postgraduate training in USA. I
practised for two years in Halifax, Canada and returned to
Chicago, USA in 1971 and started my private practice. In
my hospital I was the Chief of the Department of Surgery,
Medical Director for Integration and Development and a
member of the Board of Directors. In year 2000 I retired
from my practice. At present I am the Medical Director of
Managed care Organization and Physician Health
Organization of my hospital.
In 1968 I married Rathna, also a graduate of BMC.
We have a son, Sunil and a daughter, Neela.
Sunil MD,DABIM,MBA is an Internist and the Chief
Medical Officer at St.James Hospital, Chicago. He is
married to Amy, a Lawyer. They have a son, Joseph and
a daughter, Elizabeth.
Neela MD is doing her residency in Paediatrics in
Chicago.
