10 Student feedback At the end of the session, students are required to give
mechanism on Institutional written feedback for the improvement of infrastructure, teaching,
Governance/faculty laboratory, recreation facilities. This feedback provides an
performance important input to the college management for continuous quality
improvement.
The important role of `feedback' in improving teaching learning
and administrative activities in general. Feedback is used
primarily as an error detection mechanism and functions to
provide guidance to the College system; such that is can operate
effectively. For this procedure, College has developed specialized
software. The feedback is conducted in areas like Faculty,
Administrative process, College Activities. In academic year
2008-2009, 1485+ students have given their feedback on various
College activities.
11 Grievance redressal There is a grievance redressal cell for the staff members at the
mechanism for faculty, staff university level. The terms of reference of the redressal cell have
and students been formulated by the university. The grievances of the staff are
referred to this cell after preliminary investigation by the
Principal. There is also an internal mechanism to settle
grievances.
Grievances of students are addressed at the college level. The
grievance redressal cell is headed by the Principal and heads of
the departments are the members. The students can report their
grievances through suggestion box or directly to the committee.
The committee meets as and when required to discuss solutions
on the grievances of the students.
