Dear Valued Customers,
2013 is a turning point for DART, its partners and its customers. Over the last year, DART has invested
heavily in product development and increased its focus on organic product lines that are designed,
manufactured and certified by DART. In 2013, DART is committed to maintain this strategy, and will
push it to the next level by bringing a whole new dimension to our product offering and our
corporate identity.
First, we want to ensure that DART Aerospace has the right products for the right mission. Whether
you are dropping off workers to rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, battling raging forest fires in British
Columbia or doing maritime search and rescue in some of the world’s most treacherous conditions–it’s
the equipment that counts and we make it our mission to deliver the right products, across all
manufacturer platforms.
Second, in early 2013, DART will be rolling-out its new corporate identity. The main drive behind this
change is to simplify our offerings to our customers. Thus it is not just an aesthetic change to the
DART brand, but one that has been completely reorganized in an efficient manner to make our prod-
ucts and services smoother and more accessible than ever before. All of DART’s sub-brands–DAS,
Apical Industries, Geneva Aviation, DART Helicopter Services–will be centralized under the banner of
DART Aerospace.
As a new step in this direction, we are pleased to introduce the new 2013 DART Aerospace product
catalog. The DART team worked harder than ever to improve the most comprehensive product port-
folio in the industry. Building on this solid reputation, we are delighted to introduce a wide range of
new products for models like the AgustaWestland AW139, the Bell 407 and Bell Medium, the
Eurocopter AS350, EC135 and EC145, the Robinson R66 and many others.

centers, and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facilities. DART

EASA, Transport Canada and other authorities to obtain certification

Partnering with customers to develop new solutions is at the heart
of the DART Aerospace philosophy. To support the constant need
for new solutions that help customers accomplish demanding
missions, DART also invests heavily in research and development
through its team of highly qualified engineers located in Calgary,
Hawkesbury, Oceanside and Eugene.
ManufacturIng centers
of excellence:
HAWKesbURY (onTARIo, cAnADA): This center of excellence is co-located with the new
DART headquarters. Originally established in British Columbia in 1975, and then relocated to
Hawkesbury in 1998, this site is now the center of excellence for the design, manufacturing and
certification of metallic and thermoformed component solutions for the helicopter industry.
Landing gears, cable cutters, interior and exterior accessories, windows and doors, baskets,
avionics consoles, and many more product lines are being manufactured in this 40,000 sq. ft.
facility. Over 100 people are employed here.
oceAnsIDe (cAlIfoRnIA, UsA): Established in 1995, this center of excellence formerly
known as Apical Industries, specializes mainly in the design, manufacturing and certification of
emergency evacuation and flotation systems for helicopters and commercial airliners. It employs
over 100 people in a 52,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space. It also offers repair and overhaul capa-
bilities for float systems.
eUGene (oReGon, UsA): DART’s partner Red Barn Machine is the center of excellence
for the design and manufacturing of helicopter tools, portable field maintenance kits,
ground support equipment and a new product line (formerly known as Canam) for long line
operations that includes hooks, swivels, and long lines. Red Barn Machine also offers repair
and overhaul capabilities for hooks.
bRoUssARD (loUIsIAnA, UsA): In addition to manufacturing tie downs and float covers,
DART’s partner, Offshore Helicopter Services, offers detailed service for emergency inflatable
equipment. Its unmatched and experienced team services emergency float equipment, fuel cells,
inflatable liferaft and other life-saving equipment at the FAA repair station. Offshore is committed
to providing the industry with quality service while maintaining great turn-around times.
DART Aerospace also distributes product lines from other manufacturers such as Tyler
Technologies and Bristow Technical Services.
TYleR TecHnoloGIes: Designs and fabricates frameworks for mounting equipment on
helicopters. Its experience in manufacturing helicopter camera mounts and special operations
platforms (TSOPs) spans over four decades. Going beyond FAA requirements, Tyler's own
guidelines dictate that each system is durable, quick to install and remove, lightweight, aero-
dynamic, user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
bRIsToW TecHnIcAl seRVIces lTD: This part of the Bristow Group, provides sup-
port services for all types of flight operations and across all continents, and has done so for
over 45 years. It offers comprehensive capabilities and supplies complete services, from
concept through all stages of design, manufacturing, installation, testing and certification.

accessories provider in just 7 years, offering the most
