Vision
To attain excellence and global reputation in Aeronautical Engineering
education and research.

Mission
The department is committed to provide quality education in Aeronautical
Engineering to students to build their career and do quality research and thus
contribute to the development of the Engineering and Aviation sectors. The
department aims to prepare students for their higher studies and research to
contribute to the advanced technological needs of Aeronautical engineering.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of Aeronautical Engineering
Undergraduate Program are to prepare the students:
I. To employ in the engineering sector, research laboratories, and defence and
space organizations.
II. To pursue postgraduate degrees and conduct research at leading
technological universities to contribute to the advancement of Aviation
sector.
III. To continue their professional development by utilizing educational and
career building opportunities through their employer, educational institutions,
or professional bodies.

Program Outcomes (POs)
Graduates of the Aeronautical Engineering Undergraduate Program should
have:
PO 1: the ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science, and
Engineering fundamentals to identify, formulate, analyze, and solve complex
engineering problems related to Aeronautical engineering field.

PO 2: the ability to design system components, or processes to meet desired
needs within realistic constraints of economics, environment, society, ethics,
health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
PO 3: the ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze
and interpret data by applying appropriate techniques, resources, skills, and
modern engineering and software tools necessary for engineering practice.
PO 4: the ability to function as an individual or as a member on
multidisciplinary teams and to communicate effectively with
customers/users/peers by compiling reports/documents and presentations,
necessitating engineering solutions.
PO 5: an understanding of engineering and management principles to
manage projects in multidisciplinary environments.
PO 6: an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
PO 7: knowledge to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a
global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
PO 8: the ability to understand contemporary issues related to aviation sector
