About the Author (1917-1997)
Torkom Saraydarian was a prolific author and tireless teacher. In
his lifetime he published sixty books, gave thousands of lectures, and traveled
the world presenting the practical application of the Ageless Wisdom. Since
boyhood he learned firsthand from Teachers about the everlasting value of
principles such as Beauty, Goodness, Righteousness, Joy, Freedom, striving
toward perfection, and sacrificial service and selflessly presented this vision
to the world.
The author’s books are used all over the world as sources of guidance and
spiritual inspiration. Many of his books have been translated into other
languages including Armenian, German, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, French,
Spanish, Italian, Greek, Yugoslavian, and Swedish.
In addition to being a prolific writer, he was a composer and an accomplished
musician having published numerous recordings as well as a magnificent CD
called, “A Touch of Heart.” He plays all the instrumentals for his pieces
including piano, violin, guitar and cello, just to name a few of the instruments
he mastered.
In addition, Torkom Saraydarian was the founder of the Aquarian
Educational Group, established in 1961, with centers in Agoura, California
and Sedona, Arizona. The organization is an educational and religious tax-
exempt association dedicated to right human relations, goodwill, the
enlightenment of the mind, and the development of the heart.

many, many years through the lives he touched.

Preface
To write about enemies and dark forces as we approach the 21st Century
seems absurd. Where are the dark forces? We cannot see them. We cannot
register them in our electronic machines. This is what average man and
scientists think. But the dark forces are here, around us, in us, and in man’s
events.
You can see them in operation in obsession and possession, if you examine
deeply. If you dig the well of greed, jealousy, hatred, and fear, you can see
them.
If you examine destructive events, hunger, and homelessness, you can see the
tools of dark forces. If you enter into the secret records of education and
government, you see their shadows and their fingerprints. If you examine
your life, you can see how unconsciously you are a victim or an agent for
them.
A long time passes before you are able to see that your personality is often
unconsciously serving evil or encouraging evil through the subconscious
mind and mechanical reactions. To eliminate evil in the world means to
overcome your personality and enter into the Transpersonal Self. In that
consciousness you will be able to see good and evil.
Some people say that God created evil. But God did not create the atomic
bomb and all radioactive wastes, pesticides, and other poisons that are here
eating our life!
Evil is in front of our noses — exploitation, manipulation, crime, drugs,
alcohol, tobacco, and various lawless actions which devastate our world. Our
families are in danger of disintegration. Our society is full of conflict and
self-interest. All these are the evils we are facing today. Someone must warn
about these plagues. A nation’s advancement runs parallel to the victory it
gains over evil, over dark forces, over obsession and possession.
Many professionals are facing cases of obsession and possession, and they do
not understand what is going on. There are many cases of multiple
personalities with difficult complications; the present medical profession
considers them to be physical or psychological problems. The medical
profession does not believe that evil entities exist and that they can possess
people. Many people at the time of Jesus believed so. Jesus confronted them
and, in many cases, cleaned people from these malignant entities.
This book is an exposé on evil. As much as possible, it is for your guidance.
