1. Introduction
Whenitcomestogrowthandexpansioninanyindustry,efficiencyis
critical.ACommandControlCenterwillimprovethelivesofGCCcitizens
by providing them with better understanding and information. Intelligent
cities are designed to include the installation of a number of smart compo-
nents in conjunction with the establishment of an Integrated Command
ControlCenter,accordingtotheSmartCitiesInitiative.Inordertomanage
thecity’ssafetyandsurveillancefromaPoliceorTrafficPoliceperspective,
as well as to host Smart Solutions for the Municipal Corporation, an Inte-
gratedCommandandControlCenter(ICCC)willbeestablished.AnInte-
gratedCommandControlCenter(ICCC)willbeestablishedtomanagethe
city’s safety and surveillance while also hosting Smart Solutions for the
Municipal Corporation. Fig. 1 shows the major or important highlights
of the operations of ICCC.
Other than the abovementioned highlights, the integrated smart city
framework includes the following facilities also (Fig. 2).
2. Integration of Command and Control Center
In order to function as the brains of city operations, the Integrated
Command and Control Centers must be capable of resolving problems
and managing disasters. The use of sensors and edge devices will allow for
