1) This study examines Greek employees' intention to use web-based training by extending the technology acceptance model with additional factors such as learning goal orientation, management support, enjoyment, self-efficacy and computer anxiety. 2) A survey of 287 Greek employees was conducted to test the research model. The results of structural equation modeling show that enjoyment, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use directly influence employees' intention to use web-based training, while learning goal orientation has the strongest indirect impact. 3) The study contributes to understanding the acceptance of web-based training systems in Greece and proposes three new relationships for further research.
