Dear Members of the Class of 1994,
Please allow me on this the occasion of the publication of your
Yearbook to congratulate you on all that you have accomplished.
This book holds within it an appropriate record of your individual
and group accomplishments. The list of activities and honors
attached your names gives clear and adequate testimony to your
academic, service, and extra-curricular endeavors and successes.
You have represented both yourselves and Arlington High School at
the highest of levels. I have enjoyed seeing you at work in your
classes, competing on behalf of AHS in the athletic sphere, and
expending voluminous amounts of energy on various club and service
activities, and winning highly deserved honors in the community
and elsewhere.
On a personal level, I have found the four years I have spent with
you pleasant and rewarding. Our individual disagreements have
been minimal in number and minor in consequence. You have matured
gradually but substantially since that first meeting in September
of 1990. You now begin your post-high school life with a strong
foundation and a future limited only by your ambition. I look
forward to hearing of your further successes as you enter the
world at large. I am sure those successes will come.
