The 10th Iberoamerican Conference on Applications and Usability of Interactive TV
(jAUTI2021)wasorganizedbytheDepartmentofElectrical,ElectronicsandTelecom-
municationsandtheSmartSystemsResearchGroupWiCOM-EnergyoftheUniversidad
delasFuerzasArmadasESPE(Ecuador)inconjunctionwithRedAUTI(TheThematic
Network on Applications and Usability of Interactive Digital Television), which con-
sistsof32researchgroupsfromuniversitiesin13Iberoamericancountries(Argentina,
Brazil,Colombia,CostaRica,Cuba,Chile,Ecuador,España,Guatemala,Perú,Portugal,
Uruguay,andVenezuela).
The10theditionwasheldduringDecember2–3,2021,inanonlinemeetingformat
duetothecontextoftheCOVID-19pandemic,whichdidnotpreventthegatheringof
researchers from various universities, specifically from Europe and America, to share
theirresearchwork.
Theseproceedingscontainninepapersreferringtothedesign,development,anduser
experienceofapplicationsforinteractivedigitaltelevisionandrelatedtechnologies.They
wereselectedfrom25papersreceivedattheeventafteraXXblindpeer-reviewprocess;
they were later extended and underwent a second peer-review process in which each
paperreceivedatleastXXreviews.
